Members of the Veterans Cannabis Project are hoping their efforts will help lawmakers pressure members of the Trump administration who remain staunchly opposed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Department of Veterans Affairs is among those against loosening restrictions, arguing that while marijuana remains a Schedule 1 drug, federal law restricts the agency\u2019s ability to conduct research that involves the drug.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"apester-media\" data-media-id=\"59f209ca17444e0001d9c33c\" height=\"503\"><\/div><script async
