WASHINGTON \u2014 The Defense Department accidentally retweeted a Twitter post calling for President Trump to resign from office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAn authorized operator of the Department of Defense\u2019s official Twitter site erroneously retweeted content that would not be endorsed by the Department of Defense,\u201d Army Col. Robert Manning said in a statement to reporters. \u201cThe operator caught this error and immediately deleted it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
