And we will continue to wage jihad, break borders, and one day invade your land, where we will rule by the Shariah.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One hostage says he was asked to locate two British members of the extremist group, also known as ISIL or ISIS, and photograph a building being used by the militants as a courthouse. Britain began launching airstrikes against ISIL positions in Syria last month. France, Russia and the United States are also bombing militants in Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the condemned men appeals to other so-called spies to turn themselves in, saying &#8220;the door to repentance is open.&#8221; Another hostage says &#8220;Don&#8217;t let them fool you like they fooled us.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<style>.oembed-asset-link { background: #fff; border-bottom: 1px solid #e1e1e1; }.oembed-link-anchor { display: block; clear: both; }.oembed-link-thumbnail{ float: left; padding: 14px; }.oembed-link-thumbnail img { max-width: 78px; max-height: 60px; display: block; }p.oembed-link-title { font-size: 75%; color: #009BFF; margin: 0 14px; padding-top: 12px; font-weight:normal; text-align: left; line-height: 120%;  }p.oembed-link-desc { font-size: 100%; color: #666; font-weight: normal; margin: 0 14px 14px 14px; font-family: 'Futura Today Light'; text-align: left; line-height: 120%; }<\/style>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The video, which cannot be independently verified by USA TODAY, then shows the hostages, wearing orange jumpsuits, being shot in the head by masked militants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An English-speaking young boy wearing military-style clothes points into the distance and says: &#8220;We are going to go kill the kafir (unbelievers) over there.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The video bears similarities to previous ISIL execution videos featuring Mohammed Emwazi, a London-raised militant also known as &#8220;Jihadi John,&#8221; who beheaded Western hostages. Emwazi was killed by a U.S. drone strike in Syria in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some media are calling the militant in the latest video, who is holding a gun, &#8220;the new Jihadi John.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Britain&#8217;s Foreign Office said it is aware of the video and is examining its content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Tomorrow&#39;s Daily Telegraph
