The CIA has contested the conclusions of the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The State Department&#8217;s disclosure of the move to tighten security was made in a July letter it sent to Sen. Jim Risch. The agency said each diplomatic post was reviewing security to protect American personnel, facilities and interests, including those of private citizens and businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Associated Press obtained a copy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Risch and other Republicans expressed concerns about releasing the summary and conclusions of the so-called &#8220;torture report,&#8221; fearing &#8220;another Benghazi-like event.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
