boat\u2019s bow, triggering an unrecoverable starboard list that capsized them, officials told Navy Times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There were no injuries to the four active duty personnel; no fuel or other pollutants spilled from the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscg.mil\/Assets\/Article\/1825089\/aids-to-navigation-boats\/\" target=_blank> Trailerable Aids to Navigation Boat<\/a>; and the mishap will be investigated, Coast Guard spokesman Public Affairs Specialist 3rd Class Michael Clark said late Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The crew of 26-foot vessel had been servicing buoys and was transiting back to station when they neared Pier 39 in Astoria and encountered the heavy wake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At 11:39 a.m., 13th Coast Guard District command center watchstanders in Seattle received four Personal Locator Beacon alerts registered to the Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Team Astoria. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The positions pinged from the beacons matched multiple reports from civilian vessels streaming in from the Pier 39 area, according to a Coast Guard statement released Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">About 11 minutes later, Coast Guard Sector Columbia River watchstanders issued an urgent marine information broadcast and scrambled an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pacificarea.uscg.mil\/Our-Organization\/District-13\/Units\/Sector-Columbia-River\/\" target=_blank>Air Station Astoria<\/a> MH-60 Jayhawk rescue helicopter crew and a Coast Guard Station Cape Disappointment 47-foot Motor Lifeboat crew to respond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At 12:09 p.m., crew members on board the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.columbiariverbarpilots.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Columbia Bar River Pilot<\/a> vessel <a href=\"http:\/\/www.professionalmariner.com\/American-Ship-Review-2013\/Connor-Foss\/\" target=\"_blank\">Connor Foss<\/a> responding to the broadcast reported to the Coast Guard that they recovered the four from the water and were transporting them to medical personnel waiting at Astoria\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abam.com\/blog\/2013\/07\/celebrating-the-17th-street-dock-in-astoria\" target=\"_blank\">17th Street Dock<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\t<aside class=\"smg-interstitial-link target=_blank>Clatsop County Sheriff\u2019s Marine Patrol<\/a> towed the capsized vessel to the 17th Street Dock. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A damage assessment will be conducted
