A co-defendant, 20-year-old Daniel Krueger of Dix, Illinois, was sentenced to two years in prison last month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Court documents indicate that in June 2012, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.navytimes.com\/article\/20140507\/NEWS06\/305070061\/Court-2-accused-hacking-Navy-change-plea\" title=\"http:\/\/www.navytimes.com\/article\/20140507\/NEWS06\/305070061\/Court-2-accused-hacking-Navy-change-plea\">Naval Criminal Investigative Service detected a breach in a Navy database<\/a> that stored personal records for about 222,000 service members. The servers that stored the records were located in Tulsa. Knight and others then posted links to the private information to make it available to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Knight was a Navy Nuclear Systems Administrator aboard the USS Harry S. Truman. He was separated from the Navy last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\"
