A Navy corpsman stationed at Camp Pendleton, California, was found shot to death inside her apartment Friday afternoon, Oceanside police confirmed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hospitalman Third Class Devon Rideout, 24, was discovered at about 4 p.m. inside her Oceanside residence with multiple gunshot wounds, NBC San Diego<\/a> reported. Attempts were made by paramedics to revive her but she was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Oceanside Police arrested 25-year-old Eduardo Arriola early Saturday morning on suspicion of Rideout\u2019s murder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The suspect is a resident in the same apartment complex, the report said, but there is no known connection between the two. Arriola lived in the apartment directly upstairs from Rideout. <\/p>\n\n\n\n No motive was immediately known, the report said, and the investigation is ongoing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
