SOC has worked for many years on coordinating credit transferability among military-serving institutions.<br\/><br\/> This is the second callout for CTE programs. The first resulted in 121 certificates being approved.<br\/><br\/>TA will not be limited to just those certificates on the list. The CTE program is a way to help troops identify a good value.\u00a0<br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Certificates will be reviewed in the following career fields:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Business management and administration<\/li><li>Health sciences<\/li><li>Information technology<\/li><li>Law, public safety, corrections and security<\/li><li>Science, technology, engineering and mathematics<\/li><li>Transportation, distribution and logistics<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Many service members build on occupational specialties and technical expertise acquired in the military to pursue civilian careers in high demand career fields,&#8221; said Dawn Bilodeau, DoD Voluntary Education chief, in a letter announcing the call for applications. &#8220;Service members can accelerate their career path with necessary skills and credentials while on active duty by utilizing tuition assistance funding to complete certificate and degree programs in high-demand career and technical fields.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>How to apply<br\/><\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;If you have certificate programs that you feel would be a valued addition to the CTE Resource list, please review the program requirements and submit an application found on SOC\u2019s web site at<\/p>\n\n\n\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.soc.aascu.org\/career-and-technical-education\/soc-cte-application\" title=\"Link:
