according to a release from the Navy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pilot ejected from the aircraft and was recovered safely.\u00a0The pilot is currently being evaluated at a local hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The plane went down at the Fallon Range Training Complex, about 25 miles east of Naval Air Station\u00a0Fallon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aircraft crashed in remote, mountainous terrain, according to the announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The flight was part of a routine training mission conducted by NAWDC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cause is under investigation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Navy F\/A-18A Hornet assigned to the
