{"id":32004,"date":"2018-06-19T21:59:31","date_gmt":"2018-06-19T21:59:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/navytimes\/uncategorized\/2018\/06\/19\/mcpon-takes-leave-amid-ig-investigation\/"},"modified":"2026-08-08T19:33:50","modified_gmt":"2026-08-08T19:33:50","slug":"mcpon-takes-leave-amid-ig-investigation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/navytimes\/news\/your-navy\/2018\/06\/19\/mcpon-takes-leave-amid-ig-investigation\/","title":{"rendered":"Navy\u2019s top enlisted leader takes leave amid investigation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Navy\u2019s top enlisted leader is on leave amid allegations that he fostered a hostile work environment in his Pentagon office, Navy officials said Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (SG\/IW) Steven Giordano is currently the subject of a Navy Inspector General <a href=\"https:\/\/www.navytimes.com\/news\/your-navy\/2018\/06\/15\/like-working-for-a-pop-star-or-hollywood-diva-navy-investigating-mcpon-amid-reports-of-toxic-workplace\/\" title=\"\" class=\"selected-link\" target=\"_blank\">investigation<\/a>, Navy officials said.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHe remains on leave,\u201d Cmdr.
