Navy officials said Command Master Chief (SW\/FMF\/MCD\/FPJ) Albert Marcucci had an unduly familiar relationship with someone on the ship and made a false official statement during the investigation. The relationship was not with anyone in the command triad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Marcucci was relieved of his duties by the ship&#8217;s skipper, Cmdr. Andrew Fitzpatrick. The command master chief had served as Stout&#8217;s top enlisted sailor since May 2013, which included an eight-month float that concluded April 4. He has been temporarily assigned to the staff of Naval Surface Force Atlantic in Norfolk, Virginia. Command Master Chief (SW\/AW) Ron Glass will take over duties as Stout&#8217;s top enlisted sailor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The NJP ends a storybook career. The special amphibious reconnaissance corpsman spent most of his time among snake-eaters, to include tours with Marine Force Recon units as a special operations independent duty corpsman and with the 1st Marine Special Operations Battalion.
