Cynthia Fields, a spokeswoman for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.csp.navy.mil\/\" target=_blank>Submarine Force Pacific<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Navy takes all reports of alleged misconduct seriously,\u201d she added in an email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fields provided no other information concerning Szymanski\u2019s relief and did not respond to questions about possible future disciplinary action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She also did not respond to a request for the command investigation that allegedly sparked the master chief\u2019s termination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On a submarine, his former position is known as the chief of the boat. <\/p>\n\n\n\t<aside class=\"smg-interstitial-link wp-block-smg-interstitial-link\">\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/one.sightlinemg.com\/navytimes\/news\/your-navy\/2019\/06\/06\/why-a-chief-lost-his-anchors-last-month\/\" trial.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n\t\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Master Chief Sonar Technician (Submarine) Daryl Green has been named the new chief of the boat, according to Field, and Szymanski has been reassigned to Naval Submarine Support Command.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Szymanski did not respond to requests for comment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Minnesota native who enlisted in 2000, Szymanski pinned on master chief in August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before reporting to the Jefferson City in
