there was a robust turnout for the burial of <a href=\"https:\/\/dpaa.secure.force.com\/dpaaProfile?id=a0Jt0000000XeLYEA0\" target=\"_blank\">Navy Machinist\u2019s Mate 1st Class George Hanson<\/a> on Saturday even though only one person in the crowd professed to having ever possibly met him.<\/p>\n\n\n\t<aside class=\"smg-interstitial-link wp-block-smg-interstitial-link\">\n\t\t<a reburied in Wyoming<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"smg-interstitial-link__excerpt\">He was among the 429 crewmembers killed when the battleship capsized after being hit by aerial torpedoes during the raid on military installations in Hawaii on Dec. 7, 1941.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n\t\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Laramie Veterans Honor Guard and Patriot Guard Riders were among those who joined Hanson\u2019s family at the graveside service and internment in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityoflaramie.org\/118\/Cemetery\" target=_blank>Greenhill Cemetery<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was officiated by Navy Chaplain Mark Cox who described the service as an event to find \u201chealing for America.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hanson was among the 429 crewmembers killed when the battleship Oklahoma capsized after being hit during the 1941 attack in Hawaii. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
