These offices also often issue insurance-related advisories to consumers. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.naic.org\/state_web_map.htm\">www.naic.org\/state_web_map.htm<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span>\u2022 <\/span>The Insurance Information Institute. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iii.org\/\">www.iii.org<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span>\u2022 <\/span>Military OneSource is a Defense Department information and referral program that can help answer questions or find resources on any topic, to include life, car, homeowners and other types of insurance. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.militaryonesource.mil\/\">www.militaryonesource.mil<\/a>; 800-342-9647<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>Life insurance<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 The Veterans Affairs Department administers the Servicemembers&#8217; Group Life Insurance, Family SGLI, Traumatic SGLI and Veterans&#8217; Group Life Insurance programs, and provides soup-to-nuts information on eligibility, premiums, forms and instructions for filing claims, changing coverage or beneficiaries, and other information. insurance<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 The Defense Finance and Accounting Service has information about military disability retirement. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dfas.mil\/retiredmilitary\/disability\/disability.html\">www.dfas.mil\/retiredmilitary\/disability\/disability.html<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 VA publishes a guidebook on its specific disability benefits programs. <a
