Results of the Regular Army and Active Guard and Reserve (Army Reserve) sergeant major training and selection boards that met in June will be released Friday.
Most master sergeants and first sergeants selected by the board will be enrolled in Class 66 of the resident Sergeants Major Course that begins studies in August 2015.
When they graduate in June 2016, these soldiers will be frocked to sergeant major and assigned sequence numbers for promotion to E-9.
These lists will be released one day later than the results of the fiscal 2014 Regular Army nominative command sergeant major board that also met in June. These soldiers will be available for appointment to brigadier general- and major general-level command sergeant major positions that become vacant in 2015 and 2016.
