The Army plans 861 promotions in June to the ranks of chief warrant officer three through colonel for the Regular Army.
The Army Competitive Category will have 72 advancements to colonel, 100 to lieutenant colonel, 116 to major, 88 to captain, four to chief warrant officer five, 31 to chief warrant officer four and 69 to chief warrant officer three.
The ACC promotions will be made from the 2014 select lists, clearing the way for a new round of lists in fiscal 2016.
The Medical Corps has been authorized an unusually large number of field-grade promotions for June that will total 19 to colonel, 51 to lieutenant colonel and 182 to major.
