Promotions have commenced off the new Army Competitive Category lieutenant colonel selection list after the Senate’s confirmation of the nominee slate on Sept. 28.
By-name orders officially authorizing the advancements will be issued by the Human Resources Command no later than Tuesday Oct. 6, as follows:
Effective Sept 28:
• Operations – 38 promotions, through sequence 38, leaving 394 names.
• Operations Support – 33 promotions through sequence 33, leaving 330 names.
• Force Sustainment – six promotions through sequence 6, leaving 256 names.
Effective Oct. 1:
• Operations – 42 promotions through sequence 80, leaving 352 names.
• Operations Support – 35 promotions through sequence 68, leaving 295 names.
• Force Sustainment – 27 names through sequence 33, leaving 229 names.
