SOUTH BEND, Ind. — A 23-year-old man is accused of fatally beating an Afghanistan war veteran, whose body was found in a South Bend street in Indiana.
The South Bend Tribune reported Tuesday that Jabreeh Cash Davis-Martin of South Bend has been charged with murder in the death of 27-year-old Jodie Henderson.
Henderson was found dead in a street Jan. 16. The county coroner ruled in February that he died primarily of multiple blunt-force and chop injuries. Possible contributing factors included alcohol intoxication and exposure to the cold.
Henderson served in the Army National Guard.
It wasn’t immediately known if Davis-Martin has an attorney.
