Cyber Defense Information Assurance has been awarded an $11.5 million Air Force contract modification for network support.
Under the contract, which includes the Air Force Intranet Control and the Department of Defense Joint Regional Security Stacks, the company will provide “enterprise-level network management, optimized communications and defensive measures at the Air Force Information Network gateways,” according to the DoD contract announcement.
Air Force Intranet Control operates the Common User virtual private network mesh that ties the Air Force’s intranet together and encrypts network traffic as it traverses public infrastructure. The work is scheduled to be completed by July 2017.
