Boeing has been awarded a $15 million contract to provide airborne broadband satellite communications enterprise service.
The communications will be for U.S. senior leaders traveling on Air Mobility Command and Air Combat Command aircraft fleets, according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.
The contract lasts until September 2015, with six additional one-year options. The contract was awarded by the Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization within the Defense Information Systems Agency.
