Engility has been awarded a $14 million contract extension for joint command and control.
The five-year extension is for the Joint and Expeditionary Command and Control (JEXC2) family of systems at the Naval Surface Warfare Center’s Panama City site (NSWC PCD). Engility will support the Deployable Joint Command and Control (DJC2) system, which provides a standardized command and control capability for joint operations, according to a company news release. Engility will provide technology upgrades and lifecycle support.
“Engility’s customers at NSWC PCD have a vital mission to ensure our forces have access to the best-possible command, control, computers, communications and intelligence (C4I) subsystems, networks, and accompanying infrastructure,” said Engility CEO Tony Smeraglinolo.
