Rome Research Corporation, a subsidiary of PAR Technology, has been awarded a $1.8 million Navy contract to provide telecommunications for U.S. forces in Africa.
Under the 27-month contract, PAR will “provide engineering services and installation of critical telecommunications infrastructure at the Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti (CLDJ) Africa,” a company news release said.” CLDJ is the primary U.S. Navy base for all operations in the Horn of Africa region.
“This contract expands our presence in Africa and will only enhance our efficiency and service quality to the region,” said Matt Cicchinelli, president of PAR’s government division.
