ASRC Federal Technical Services has been awarded a $40 million Air Force contract for satellite communication services.
Under the five-year contract, ASRC will perform around-the-clock ground terminal operations and maintenance for the Defense Satellite Communications System and Milstar, as well as operate the Global Broadcast Service (GBS) operations center, including remote operations of GBS defense enterprise computing center sites at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma and Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, said a company news release.
The contract was awarded by Air Force Space Command’s 50th Space Wing.
