Vencore Labs has been awarded a $7.7 million DARPA cybersecurity contract.
The contract was awarded as part of DARPA’s Extreme DDoS Defense (XD3) program.
“The XD3 program seeks to develop revolutionary advances in the area of resilient defenses against distributed denial of services (DDoS) attacks on computer networks,” according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.
The contract is scheduled for completion in April 2019.
