Raytheon will provide surveillance and other equipment for Philippines maritime border security.
The company was awarded the second increment of a Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) contract. The increment, valued at $25 million, is for sensing, command and control, and communications systems, according to a Raytheon news release.
Raytheon will install common operating picture platform in the National Coast Watch Control (NCWC) and National Coast Watch Stations in two Philippine provinces. The company will also install electro-optical and infrared cameras, and upgrade communications and surveillance on Philippine Coast Guard vessels.
