Insight Public Sector has been awarded a $156 million Navy contract to renew existing software assurance and new Microsoft software licenses.
The three-year, fixed-price blanket purchase agreement was made under the Department of the Navy Enterprise Software Licensing Initiative. The contract comprises one base year and two option years. With both options exercised, the contract value would soar to $543.7 million.
The work is scheduled to be completed by May 2016. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific is the contracting authority.
