Camber Corp. has been awarded an $8.4 million contract for anti-access/area denial (A2AD) training simulations.
Training will focus on defense against swarms of inshore fast attack craft, sea mines, mines, cyber and electronic warfare, and denial or disruption of the electromagnetic spectrum, according to the Department of Defense contract announcement. Camber will also develop new or enhanced sensor models.
Camber will conduct demonstrations using the Fleet Integrated Synthetic Training and Testing Facility for the Navy Continuous Training Environment. The work is scheduled to be completed by April 2019.
