Quantitative Software Management has been awarded an Army contract to mitigate software risk.
The five-year contract was awarded by the U.S. Army Cost Center under the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Cost and Economics (ODASA-CE), said a company news release.
“QSM will provide estimation and tracking assistance to help with early-stage identification and mitigation of software program risk. This includes working closely with programming offices to obtain key software inputs, prepping cost estimates, and reconciling and adjusting these inputs throughout the entire software project lifecycle to ensure budgets aren’t exceeded.”
QSM’s work for ODASA-CE has saved approximately $750 million since 2004, the company said.
