In partnership with the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Bethesda Chapter, Federal Times Editor Steve Watkins
will host a discussion with General Services Administration leaders on one of the most anticipated new federal contract programs: the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) program.
Leaders from GSA’s OASIS and Federal System Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM) programs will discuss their plans to make OASIS a centerpiece in the government’s acquisition of complex professional services. Among the discussion points: training, task order management, on- and off-ramps for new companies, small business utilization, and new tools available to conduct market research and other procurement tasks.
Attendees also will hear the latest updates on GSA/Department of Homeland Security’s Continuous Diagnostics and Monitoring (CDM) program, which is being executed by FEDSIM.
The OASIS program is a unique hybrid contract that is already getting much attention and use from federal and military customers. Last month, GSA signed its second agreement in as many months with the Army to use OASIS. The Army will join the Air Force to use the multiple award contracting vehicle for full-and-open and small business task orders for complex professional services such as management and consulting, engineering, logistics, and financial services.
Speakers include:
- Jim Ghiloni, Program Executive Officer for OASIS, GSA
- Chris Hamm, director of GSA’s Federal System Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM)
- Michael Donaldson, sector director of FEDSIM.
- Kristen Knapper, civilian sector director of FEDSIM.
