Government officials, media and fans of aeronautics, astrophysics, Earth science, human spaceflight and more can now search a consolidated image, video and audio repository from NASA.
The launch of the NASA Image and Video Library sees over 60 collections (totaling more than 140,000 new and archival files) available from a single location through keyword and metadata searches.
The site, built on NASA’s cloud native infrastructure-as-a-code technology, automatically scales the interface for mobile, displays EXIF/camera data and includes downloadable caption files. An API allows for automation of imagery uploads and the ability to embed content in sites and applications.
The NASA Image and Video Library can be accessed at images.nasa.gov.
