The International Information System Security Certification Consortium will introduce eight new members of its U.S. Government Advisory Council at the group’s year-end meeting in Alexandria, Virginia, on Dec. 8. These volunteer advisers will offer input to (ISC)² in its actions to support cyber, information, software and infrastructure security professionals within federal policies and programs.
The eight new council members are:
— Devon Bryan, CISSP, CISA, CIPP US/EU, EVP chief information security officer (CISO), Federal Reserve; and co-founder and president of International Consortium of Minority Cybersecurity Professionals (ICMCP).
— Renee M. Forney, CISSP, acting deputy CIO of cybersecurity, Department of Energy.
— Stephanie L. Keith, CISSP, chief, Cyber Workforce Strategy and Policy Division, Department of Defense.
— Shaun Khalfan, CISSP, CEH, Security+, GISP, chief systems security officer, Customs and Border Protection, Department of Homeland Security.
— Christopher Lowe, CISSP, PMP, SES, CISO, Department of Agriculture.
— Christina Phibbs, CISSP, lead cyber security engineer, MITRE Corporation.
— Michael Stoner, CISSP, PMP, GSLC, CISO, Office of the Inspector General, Federal Housing Finance Agency.
— Leo Wong, CISSP, CISM, CISO, Federal Communications Commission.
The new members will be joining the nine current council members.
