In December, the Prince George’s County Police Department landed a spot as one of the top finishers in our latest Best for Vets: Law Enforcement rankings.
We spoke with several of the Maryland department’ s veteran and reservist officers about what it was like for them to transition from the military to law enforcement — or juggle police work with reserve deployments. They also took us on a ride-along for a look at police work firsthand.
