A large piece of memorabilia from the ballsiest raid in modern history is up for auction. The Israelis are auctioning one of the four C-130 used in the storied raid on Entebbe airfield. Aircraft 106 carried IDF commandos and hardware in, and rescued hostages out, after the successful rescue mission.
Hundreds of hostages were held at the Ugandan airport after an Airbus A300 was hijacked by Palistinians in the summer of 1976. Bids will be accepted until March 31st. That gives you time to secure financing for the aircraft and finish that D.I.Y. backyard hangar.
