The Magpul MOE Rifle Stock has taken up temporary residence on the GearScout FrankenGun and I’m pretty happy with it. The Stock feels solid, balances well and provides plenty of room in the trunk. The stock even appears ready to accept a smell section of rail to mount a monopod. I haven’t had a chance to put any rounds downrange with the new stock but my bay window impression is that the broad, uninterrupted cheek weld surface is enough to convert some collapsible stock users over to a fixed stock should they realize they really don’t need an adjustable stock.
I wonder why they didn’t start with the stock about 1/4″ to 1/2″ shorter to accommodate smaller shooters or those clad in armor. Length could easily be added using enhanced buttpads.
