Prototype AK triggers from ALG Defense (sister company of Geissele Automatics) were available for test firing from Geissele, with pre-order available to dealers.
The trigger was extremely impressive, as we had no idea what to expect going into it. During test first, it felt like a 2 stage trigger with an extremely light first stage, and crisp second stage break. I compared it to that of the Geissele Super 3 Gun trigger which is costs $250…
But the shocker was that this AK trigger will cost only $49 from ALG Defense, and $75 for a nickel boron enhanced variant.
Representatives from Geissele noted that the prototypes were a bit too light with a 2-3 pound first stage, which will be likely increased in production models to make the trigger less sensitive. Production models of the triggers are expected to ship in late spring, 2015, with a price of $50 and $75 for standard and nickel boron treated versions
