Sixty-five soldiers graduated from the Army’s first integrated armor officer course — 13 of them were women.
The women had to perform the same tasks as their male peers.
Instructors spoke of the accomplishment just prior to graduation ceremonies. Armor School’s enlisted Cavalry Scout course opens to women in February. The Armor crewman school opens to women in March.
