On Monday, Donald Trump pegged Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster to fill the office of national security left vacant after former security adviser Michael Flynn was asked to step down from his role amid allegations of colluding with Russia during and after the election. Raymond McMaster is known for speaking his mind and challenging his superiors.
