Sailors who took their advancement exams in September could be sporting a new petty officer’s crow by the time they sit down for a Thanksgiving turkey.
Navy personnel officials will release the results of the fall active-duty E-4 through E-6 petty officer advancement results to commands at 9 a.m. EST on Nov. 24.
The public release to the web and media will happen exactly 24-hours later.
In the meantime, the quotas — the statistics by paygrade and rating on how many passed their tests, and of those, how many will advance — will be released Nov. 19.
Navy Times will be posting the quotas that day with analysis of what the results mean for sailors hoping to move up. Additionally, the names of all advancing sailors will be posted on the Navy Times website at 9 a.m. on Nov. 25. Return to navytimes.com over the next two weeks for complete advancement cycle coverage.
