A sailor was found dead Monday at the Navy’s Training Support Center Great Lakes in Illinois, officials confirmed Wednesday.
The sailor’s name was being withheld pending next-of-kin notification, according to center spokesman Matt Mogle.
He was found just before 6 a.m. Monday in his barracks room, Mogle said.
The sailor was attending fire controlman school.
Agents from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service are probing the death, according to Mogle.
