The Army’s Network Integration Evaluation event is over for another year, and C4ISR & Networks has exclusive video bringing you the highlights.
The NIE is where the Army evaluates its tactical network in the austere desert and mountain environment of west Texas and eastern New Mexico. The key system under test was the Warfighter Information Network-Tactical Increment 2, the on-the-move aspect of WIN-T. The test will determine whether WIN-T Increment 2 receives its full-rate production decision in 2015. Approximately 5,000 soldiers and 200 vehicles took part in NIE 15.1.
