The Defense Information Systems Agency could become a market for the General Services Administration’s forthcoming Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions contract, according to a report in Federal Times. The drive to capture the defense and intelligence markets will also be aided by the administration’s Category Management initiative, which is intended to reduce duplication of contracts and raise the capacity for multi-agency volume procurements, according to Mary Davie, GSA’s assistant commissioner for the Office of Integrated Technology Services, which oversees the Networx and EIS programs.
