Raytheon has been awarded a $7.7 million Air Force contract modification for a cryptographic contract.
The modification applies to Raytheon’s contract for cryptographic work on the VINSON/ANDVT Cryptographic Modernization (VACM) program, according to the Department of Defense contract announcement. Raytheon will “implement hardware changes related to design issues and parts obsolescence, as well as software deficiencies identified during testing.”
The work is scheduled to be completed by March 2017. The contract was awarded by Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division.
