Many thanks to our industry partners who joined us for the Defense Information Systems Agency’s Forecast to Industry event Nov. 2.
We had more than 700 on-site attendees and more than 900 who participated virtually. It was a great way to exchange information and talk about the way ahead.
DISA’s partnership with industry is key to our mission success. Industry partners offer cutting-edge technologies, a world-class workforce and technological insights that allow DISA and JFHQ-DODIN to deliver critical cyber capabilities and infrastructure to the Department of Defense.

I want you to understand my vision and help to make it a reality. We need a new way to build networks that have the resiliency to adapt, regenerate and morph in real time to ensure we can communicate through contested cyberspace attacks — at a price we can afford. We cannot allow a persistent threat to live on our networks. This means looking for networks that are virtualized, able to be deleted and spun up anew at will. And we need to carry that ability to adapt and secure networks a step further, as well as develop a secure wireless network that has 100 percent assured identity and enhanced, updated encryption.
Together, we serve the nation by providing the means to defend DoD information networks, secure our data and mitigate cyber risks to military missions. The Forecast to Industry event gave you insight into opportunities for partnering with DISA. We look forward to working with you to achieve our strategic goals and fundamentally change the way the Department of Defense operates in the cyber domain. If you missed the Forecast to Industry event, you can view the slides online at www.disa.mil/News/Conferences-and-Events/ Forecast-to-Industry-2015/Briefings.
This guide provides you with current information on DISA contracts. You will find venues for doing business with DISA through listed indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts, blanket purchase agreements and blanket ordering agreements. We are looking for innovative technologies, and we want to hear your ideas.
