Rockwell Collins has unveiled its new, wearable version of its Firestorm targeting system.
The Firestorm variant features a smaller, lighter accuracy augmentation unit called the High Accuracy Lightweight Targeter (HALT), according to a company news release. It weighs less than 1.2 kilograms and features a compact version of the StrikeHawk TM Digital tactical receiver. The Firestorm Interface Unit has body-worn integrated power management and data concentration.
