The Navy has awarded contracts to 464 companies in a massive program valued at $5.3 billion per year.
Under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contracts for the SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) acquisition program, the winners will compete for opportunities in 22 different areas, including research, software development, IT support, training and public affairs.

The work will support numerous commands, including Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command, Strategic Systems Programs, Office of Naval Research and the Marine Corps.
The 464 contracts are in addition to the 2,420 contracts previously awarded under SeaPort-e.
