The University of Southern California Information Sciences Institute has been awarded a $30.8 million Air Force contract for imaging of nano-structures.
Under the Ptychography-based Rapid Imaging of Nano-Structures with Multi-layer Assemblies (PRISMA) contract with the Air Force Research Laboratory, the university “will address the technology development of non-destructive 3D imaging for integrated circuits fabricated with feature sizes less than or equal to 10 nanometers,” according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.
The contract is scheduled to be completed by January 2022.
