The request for information in FedBizOpps[https://www.fbo.gov/index?s=opportunity&mode=form&id=ae4be9a2582a43884b2773596f89a32c&tab=core&_cview=1] calls for a UAV with a minimum speed of 50 knots, a maximum altitude of 15,000 feet and a minimum endurance of 10 to 12 hours.
The UAVs appear destined for foreign users flying ISR missions. “The systems are intended to build needed Foreign Partner capacity in accordance with Defense Security Cooperation Agency guidelines,” said the RFI.
The small UAVs should be capable of providing full-motion video through electro-optical and infrared sensors. Normal operating altitude will be 3,000 to 5,000 feet.
